Lucy Cunningham, 20, has never kissed a man, never worked, and never had friends. Her only girlfriend is her mother Claire, who protects her from all the bad things in the world, including the deadly disease Clare suffers from. Lucy is aware that something is wrong with her mother, and she is leaving for a job interview in Cleveland.
